The High Line project consists of re-qualifying a disused aerial railway line by transforming it into a green public space two kilometers long. The project is located in New York, on the west shore of Manhattan, in an industrial sector in the process of revitalization. The infrastructure that is the subject of this project is a rail built from 1929 to 1934, on an elevated structure, to relieve urban congestion. Located in West Manhattan, this botanical garden suspended above the city streets stands nine meters high.
